USHPP searches our professional contacts and databases to find the opportunities that are most suited to your qualifications and practice desires. As we identify practices that meet your criteria, we bring this list back to you to approve before contacting any practice.

Introduction, Application and Interview

Contract negotiations
USHPP will take the time to educate you on what is a fair and reasonable contract. This includes what you can expect to earn and what you should negotiate for. We help educate you about signing bonuses, length of time to partnership, malpractice insurance, moving and miscellaneous expenses, vacation time. Should you need a comprehensive contract review, we can provide a referral list of established contract lawyers.

Transition questions and timeline
At USHPP, it is our profession to aid military physicians making the move to a civilian career. The transition produces many questions that we already have the answer for or know where to look to find the answer. We have resources available to answer your questions about reserve commitment, military and VA benefits, licensing and malpractice issues and many other topics that you will have to deal with during the process. We provide you with a transition timeline that lists all the important events that need to occur for you and your family to move seamlessly from your military life to your civilian life.
